GreenMED will be participating in the upcoming “Innovation Initiatives for Decarbonising the Mediterranean” workshop, taking place on February 11th, 2025, in Valencia – Terminal Hub, Spain. Organised by our partners at Fundación Valenciaport, this event will bring together key EU projects – including WestMED, POSEIDON, SEAFAIRER, POWER4MED, BlueBarge, ARSINOE, and Seanergy – to discuss groundbreaking solutions for alternative fuels for shipping, decarbonising ports and adapting ports to climate change. The workshop will also feature a plenary speech on the Challenges for Decarbonizing the Port-Maritime Industry in the Mediterranean, setting the stage for insightful discussions and collaboration. Additionally, this event will host the 1st Foresight Workshop of GreenMED, a crucial step in shaping innovative pathways toward a greener maritime future.
