3rd GreenMED Workshop in Alexandria – GreenMED Insights and MSSO-AISBE Rollout in Egypt: Pathways to Maritime Decarbonization

The 3rd Workshop of the GreenMED project is approaching!
We are proud to invite you on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Alexandria, Egypt.

This upcoming event marks a key milestone for the project, as it will further open up the project and the ambition of the Mediterranean Sustainable Shipping Observatory (MSSO) to national and regional stakeholders, in Alexandria, Egypt. The workshop will present the progress of the GreenMED project, with a special focus on energy demand and supply chain mapping, as well as on the expected functionalities of the MSSO platform. The workshop will also include keynote speeches from public authorities and industry leaders, and participants will have the chance to engage in a multi-stakeholder dialogue and networking activities, aligning on regional maritime decarbonisation!

The workshop will be held in hybrid format, allowing both onsite and online participation, and aims to reinforce cooperation among maritime actors in Egypt and the wider Mediterranean region.
